Embracing the Rhythm of Healing

Last month, families gathered at the Lakeland Public Library for the Giving Tree Drum Circle, a fun and inspiring event that encouraged participants to drum, dance, and make some noise! Presented by Giving Tree Music, the Watson Clinic Foundation, and the Lakeland Public Library, the event drew well over 100 children and adults who learned how making music impacts health while playing instruments together in an energetic, interactive drum circle.

This event was part of the Polk Arts & Health Collaborative initiative and was made possible through generous grants from the Polk Arts and Cultural Alliance and the Mayor's Council on the Arts. Click here for more information on the Watson Clinic Foundation
