Internal Medicine specialist Guillermo O. Vasquez, MD and his team are pleased to offer Saturday appointment availability from their Watson Clinic South offices at 1033 N. Parkway Frontage Rd. in south Lakeland. Appointments will be available between the hours of 7 am – 11 am every Saturday, during which patients will receive expert care from Dr. Vasquez and his registered nurse practitioner Emily Beriswill, APRN.

“We’re committed to providing the most convenient and effective healthcare experience possible for our patients,” Dr. Vasquez says. “For those who work during the week, and find it difficult to break away, these Saturday hours can provide the services they need in a manner that works on their schedule.”

Dr. Vasquez received his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, FL, where he also completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine. He is bilingual in English and Spanish, and has been serving Watson Clinic patients since 2002.

Ms. Beriswill’s areas of expertise include Adult/Gerontology Primary Care. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL. She achieved her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL. She is a member of the Polk Advanced Practice Nursing Association.

In addition to offering expanded Saturday hours, Dr. Vasquez and his team are also available for appointments every Monday – Wednesday from 7 am – 6 pm and every Thursday and Friday from 7 am – 5 pm.
