Ameer Aboud, MD is a General Surgery specialist who treats patients from Watson Clinic Parkway Medical Center at 4060 Lakeland Highlands Rd. in south Lakeland. His areas of expertise include advanced gastrointestinal surgery, abdominal wall reconstruction, bariatric surgery, and minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic surgical techniques.
Dr. Aboud received his medical degree from Crimean Federal University Medical Academy in Simferopol, Crimea. He went on to complete an Internal Medicine residency at Robert Wood Johnson Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ, a General Surgery residency at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons/Harlem Hospital Center in New York, NY, and a Minimally Invasive Surgery/Bariatrics fellowship at AdventHealth Tampa in Tampa, FL. Dr. Aboud is board-certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery, and is a member of the American College of Surgeons, Society of Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Arjun Patel, DO is an Orthopaedic Surgery specialist who accepts patient appointments from Watson Clinic Parkway Medical Center at 4060 Lakeland Highlands Rd. in south Lakeland. His areas of expertise include hip and knee replacements and revisions. Dr. Patel earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ.
He went on to complete his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, MI and his Adult Reconstruction fellowship at Desert Orthopaedic Center in Las Vegas, NV.
