Lake Ashton Members Support Breast Cancer Research

On January 12, 2021 the Lake Ashton Golf Community held its annual Pink Ribbon Golf Tournament. The event raised $25,384 for the Watson Clinic Foundation with the funds earmarked for breast cancer research and education. This donation was a 150% increase from last year. The one-day tournament was a best ball “scramble” mixed with lots of laughter and fun activities. The incredible number of hole sponsors and raffle donors came from around the Winter Haven and Lake Wales communities. Silent auction items such as prestigious golf courses, gourmet dinners, exquisite art work and valuable weekend getaways dramatically helped to increase this year’s sizable donation. All Lake Ashton residents support many worthy charitable causes in addition to the Pink Ribbon Tournament. The community looks forward to another successful Pink Ribbon Tournament in 2022.
