About Kenley Pointer, PA
Kenley Pointer, PA is an advanced practice provider who works alongside board-certified Oncology-Hematology specialist Shalini Mulaparthi, MD from the Watson Clinic Cancer & Research Center at 1730 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland.
Ms. Pointer received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree from South University in Tampa, FL. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.
1. What inspired you to get into healthcare?
While being raised by my grandparents, I attended most of their visits. This inspired me to go into healthcare.
2. What made you choose your specialty?
I have always had an interest in Oncology/Hematology and the ongoing innovation and research surrounding this field. It makes for great continuous learning in medicine!
3. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I love hiking and watching movies with my friends/family and kitty. I also love trying new restaurants!
4. What brought you to Central Florida?
I was born and raised here!
5. What brought you to Watson Clinic?
My family receives their care at Watson Clinic and have had great experiences. I am happy to be a part of a team that continues to give patient-focused care to Central Florida.
