About Peter Wang, MD
Dr. Peter Wang is a Cardiology specialist who treats patients from Watson Clinic Main at 1600 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland, and Watson Clinic Parkway Medical Center at 4060 Lakeland Highlands Rd. in south Lakeland.

Dr. Wang earned his medical degree from the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in Buffalo, NY. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at Yale University in New Haven, CT, and a Cardiology fellowship at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Cardiology, American Society of Echocardiography and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.

I was drawn to cardiology as it combines fascinating physiology with the ability to address our nation's most pressing health needs. Whether I am stepping in during an emergency, or partnering with patients over the years to manage chronic conditions, this field allows me to provide urgent, specialized treatment alongside long-term, patient-centered care.
2. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy working out, traveling, reading, and spending quality time with my family and friends.

The wonderful year-round sunshine, vibrant community, and outdoor living with close proximity to beautiful beaches and parks.
