Video Visits

The healthcare you trust from the comfort of your own home.

Introducing Video Visits
During this time of crisis, it’s comforting to know that the doctors you trust most will continue to be there when you need them. That’s why Watson Clinic is making it easier than ever to visit with your doctor at a time that’s most convenient to your schedule and from the comfort of your own home.

In addition to in-office visits, Watson Clinic also offers Video Visit appointments. With Video Visits, you can schedule and attend a doctor’s appointment remotely using your computer, tablet or smart phone.

What is a Video Visit?
A Video Visits allows patients to schedule and attend a doctor’s appointment from the comfort of their own home through computer, tablet or smart phone.

How does a Video Visit work?
Patients who are enrolled in the free Watson Clinic MyChart patient portal can chose a Video Visit as their desired option when scheduling their next appointment with a doctor or provider. This option is dependent upon individual doctor or provider participation.

Does Watson Clinic still offer in-office visits?
All Watson Clinic locations remain open for in-person appointments. Patients are encouraged to attend their regularly scheduled doctor appointments during this time. However, for those who wish to stay home, Video Visits provides a convenient alternative.

Is the quality of care compromised by using a Video Visit?
Video Visits are a convenient alternative for patients to receive the healthcare they need without having to leave their house. As with all in-person visits, this new platform still allows for valuable one-on-one communication with your doctor or provider, a discussion of symptoms, and recommended treatments and therapies.

Which doctors are using Video Visits?
Many Watson Clinic physicians are accepting appointments via Video Visits, and that number continues to grow each day. You can check availability on the MyChart patient portal system.

Does insurance cover Video Visit appointments?
Yes, these types of doctor visits are covered by most insurance policies. As is the case with any doctor’s appointment, co-payments may vary depending on your particular insurance coverage. For more information on the insurance plans honored by Watson Clinic, visit WatsonClinic.com/Insurance.

Which types of health concerns qualify for Video Visits?
