Alvaro V. Teixeira, MD is a board-certified Psychiatry specialist who treats patients from Watson Clinic Highlands at 2300 E. County Rd. 540A in south Lakeland. His areas of expertise include the treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, psychosis, ADHD, and behavioral, drug, alcohol and tobacco addictions.
Dr. Teixeira received his medical degree from the Federal University of Goias School of Medicine in Goiania, Brazil. He went on to complete his Psychiatry residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL, and an Addiction Psychiatry fellowship at Yale University/New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT. He is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry.

Quanisha B. Arthur, APRN is an advanced practice provider who works alongside board-certified Pulmonology specialist Naem Shahrour, MD from Watson Clinic Main at 1600 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland. Her areas of expertise include the management of chronic respiratory conditions like COPD and asthma.
