Watson Clinic Recruits Three Additional Specialists

Watson Clinic is pleased to welcome the following new additions to their team of expert physicians.

Yasmin Divine, MD is a board-certified Family Medicine specialist who treats patients on a walk-in basis from Watson Clinic Urgent Care South at 1033 N. Parkway Frontage Rd. behind the Oakbridge Centre in south Lakeland.

Dr. Divine received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in the West Indies, and her clinicals were completed in New York, NY. She completed her Family Medicine residency at Boston University School of Medicine/Boston Medical Center in Boston, MA, and her Geriatric Medicine fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. She is board-certified in Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Medical Directors Association, American Geriatric Society, and the American Medical Association. She is multilingual in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.

Mona El-Gayar, MD is an OB-GYN specialist who treats patients from Watson Clinic Highlands at 2300 E. County Road 540A in south Lakeland. Her areas of expertise include pregnancy and prenatal care, birth control management, hormone management and minimally invasive robotic surgery.

Dr. El Gayar received her medical degree from the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine in Vermillion, SD, and completed her OB-GYN residency at the University of Central Florida/HCA Consortium in Gainesville, FL. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is bilingual in English and Arabic.

Imran Gruhonjic, DO is an Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine specialist who treats patients from Watson Clinic Main at 1600 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland. His areas of expertise include arthroscopic sports medicine, open shoulder surgery (shoulder replacement), cartilage restoration and the treatment of patellar instability.

Dr. Gruhonjic received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, GA. He went on to complete his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the Sisters of St. Mary Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK, and his fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at San Diego Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine in San Diego, CA. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Medical Association and the American Osteopathic Association. He is bilingual in English and Bosnian.
