Watson Clinic is pleased to introduce the latest additions to their team of expert physicians.
 
Yusuf Buxamusa, MD is an Internal Medicine Hospitalist who treats patients from Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital at 4000 Lakeland Highlands Rd. in south Lakeland.
 
Dr. Buxamusa earned his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Lakeland Regional Health in Lakeland, FL. Chehan Herath, MD is a Neurology specialist who treats patients from Watson Clinic Main at 1600 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland.
 
His areas of expertise include clinical neurophysiology, including electroencephalogram (EEG), nerve conduction studies (NCS) and electromyography (EMG) testing, as well as the therapeutic use of BOTOX(r). Dr. Herath earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI, where he also completed his Neurology residency. He completed his Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. Her areas of expertise include comprehensive family medicine services, preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illness care. Dr. Johnson earned her medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Zapopan, Mexico, and completed her Family Medicine residency at Manati Medical Center in Manati, Puerto Rico. She is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Anne M. Meo, DO is a board-certified Hand Surgery specialist who treats patients from Watson Clinic Parkway Medical Center at 4060 Lakeland Highlands Rd. in south Lakeland, and Watson Clinic Main at 1600 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland. 
 
Her areas of expertise include a variety of surgical and nonsurgical procedures designed to correct or relieve arthritis, tendonitis and carpal tunnel syndrome, such as advanced joint replacement techniques, microsurgery, arthroscopy of the wrist, advanced techniques for tendon reconstruction and internal fixation for fractures. Dr. Meo earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine/New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, NY. She completed an Osteopathic internship at Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Stratford, NJ, an Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the Peninsula Hospital Consortium in Far Rockaway, NY, and a Hand Surgery fellowship at the State University of New York in Stony Brook, NY.
