Dany K. Barrak, MD, MPH, a board-certified General Surgeon and Surgical Oncologist at Watson Clinic, was recently named a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. This prestigious designation was granted following a rigorous evaluation and reflects Dr. Barrak’s adherence to the highest standards of education, professional qualifications, surgical competence and ethical conduct.

Dr. Barrak treats patients from Watson Clinic Main at 1600 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland, where he specializes in general surgery, robotic surgery, minimally invasive surgical techniques, and complex surgical oncology. He received his medical degree from the University of Balamand in Balamand, Lebanon, and his Master of Public Health and Healthcare Management degree from the American University of Beirut in Beirut, Lebanon. He completed a Surgical Internship at the American University of Beirut in Beirut, Lebanon, a General Surgery residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, a Complex General Surgical Oncology Research Fellowship at the University of Southern California, Norris Cancer Center, in Los Angeles, CA, and an additional fellowship in Complex General Surgical Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Barrak is fluent in English, Arabic and French.
