Watson Clinic recognizes one outstanding employee every month as part of their Program for Employee Excellence and Recognition (PEER) award. The PEER Award is given to an employee who best exemplifies the patient-focused customer service standards that Watson Clinic strives to excel at every day. The following employee was recognized for this current month:
Jennifer Gaugh - August
Jennifer Gaugh, a Medical Assistant in the office of General Surgeon Dr. Jack B. Thigpen, Jr. at Watson Clinic Main in Lakeland, was recently named the recipient of the PEER award for the month of August. Jennifer has been with Watson Clinic for 24 years, and has worked in a number of different departments, including Internal Medicine, Rheumatology and Surgical Oncology. She is known for being an exceptional trainer to new co-workers, and for always providing comforting guidance to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
As PEER Award winner, Jennifer received a plaque, dinner at a local restaurant, a reserved parking spot and a gift certificate to the Medical Spa at Watson Clinic.
