APRN/PA Urology - Lakeland, FL

The Urology Department at Watson Clinic is seeking a skilled NP/PA to join our collaborative team and deliver exceptional, patient‑centered urologic care across inpatient, outpatient, and perioperative settings.

About the Inpatient Role

Provide comprehensive care across clinic, hospital, outpatient, and perioperative environments.
Support outpatient urology services, including follow‑up visits, chronic condition management, diagnostic evaluations, and patient education.
Perform First Assist responsibilities in the operating room.
Manage post‑operative care, including rounding, orders, and discharge planning.
Complete admissions, histories & physicals, discharges, consults, and triage.
Partner closely with urologists, nurses, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions of care.

About the Outpatient Role

Provide comprehensive outpatient urologic care, including follow‑up visits, chronic condition management, and patient education.
Conduct evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop evidence‑based treatment plans.
Perform in‑office procedures as appropriate to scope and training.
Collaborate closely with urologists, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless, coordinated care.
Support patient access by managing both scheduled and same‑day visits.

Preferred Experience & Attributes

Prior experience in Urology, Surgery, Hospital Medicine, or other acute care settings strongly preferred.
Strong procedural skills, sound clinical judgment, and excellent communication in fast‑paced environments.
Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and a patient‑first mindset.

Schedule & Call

Full‑time schedule aligned with service needs across clinic, outpatient, hospital, and OR settings.
On‑call responsibilities required as part of team coverage.
