Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
(Full-Time) – Lakeland, FL
Our Pulmonary practice in Lakeland is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a busy clinic-based practice.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (or until all patients are seen)
Weekend call coverage and hospital rounding may be requested.
Preferred Experience:
Prior Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience in Pulmonary, Medical-Surgical, Emergency Room, or ICU settings is preferred. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with exceptional attention to detail.
Under the direction of our Pulmonary physicians, responsibilities include:
- Maintain and update progress notes in a timely manner
- Perform histories and physicals (H&Ps)
- Write orders for medications and diagnostic tests
- Assess and diagnose acute and chronic illnesses
- Provide high-quality patient care in clinic setting

Certification / Licensure Requirements:
- Adult certification required (for NP candidates)
- BLS certification required
- APRN or PA board certification required
- Active, unrestricted Florida license (or ability to obtain) required
