APRN/PA - Internal Medicine (Dr. McNeice) - Main - (FT) - Lakeland, FL

Full-time Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed to join Dr. McNeice and her established office-based practice at our Main Clinic. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (or until all patients are seen).
At least 1+ years of previous experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an outpatient primary care office is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive primary healthcare to adult patients (18+), including ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests within the scope of practice
- Accurately performs a history and physical examinations
- Consults, co-manages, and refers patients as appropriate
- Prescribes medications as delegated in protocol and procedures
- Completes necessary documentation promptly
- Writes orders for medications, treatments, tests & IV fluids consistent with the scope of practice of the APRN/PA and the overseeing Physician
- Providing an assessment of the patient's medical, physical & psychological status
- Documents examination results & records progress notes and provide continuity of care.
Qualifications- BLS certification is required
- APRN/PA board certification is required.
- Active, unrestricted FL license (or the ability to obtain FL license) is required.
