APRN/PA- Cardiology Electrophysiology (FT) (Hospital Based) - Lakeland , FL

Our Cardiology department looking for a Hospital Based Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work alongside our Electrophysiologist. Schedule includes some weekends & holidays with additional stipend offered for coverage. Hospital based and may include consults, hospital rounds, follow up care, H & P’s, ordering tests, and prescribing medications.

· Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant in Cardiology preferred. Important skills include strong interpersonal and communication abilities, as well as a keen attention to detail.

Duties include:

• Providing comprehensive primary healthcare to adult patients, including ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests
• History and physical examinations
• Writes orders for medications, treatments, tests & IV fluids

Adult and BLS certification required. Experience as NP/PA in Cardiology is preferred.

APRN/PA board certification is required

Active, Unrestricted FL license (or the ability to obtain FL license) is required.
