According to the American Academy of Dermatology, skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States, affecting one in every five people. Early detection is the primary means of protecting yourself from the disease.
In acknowledgement of Skin Cancer Detection and Prevention Month, the
Watson Clinic Foundation is offering Free Skin Cancer Screenings at two Watson Clinic locations!
Watson Clinic South and Highlands will host a skin cancer screening on Saturday, May 4 from 9 am to 12 pm. Board-certified dermatologist
Linwood D. Bond, Jr., MD and certified physician assistant
Jason A. Kumlien, PA-C will provide free screenings at
Watson Clinic South, which is located at 1033 N. Parkway Frontage Road. The screenings at
Watson Clinic Highlands, located at 2300 E. County Rd. 540A, will be performed by board-certified dermatologist
Luke M. Miller, MD.
These screenings are designed exclusively for individuals who have not yet established their own dermatologist. Participants are asked to wear loose-fitted clothing and no makeup to assist in the screening process.
Appointments are required to take part in these screenings. Call
