RSV Vaccine Referral Line: 863-680-7190

RSV Vaccine Update:
Watson Clinic offers Arexvy, a new vaccine designed to protect against Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) to established patients who are 60 years of age or older.

RSV is a common virus that impacts the lungs and respiratory tract, and usually causes mild cold-like symptoms such as a congested or runny nose, dry cough, fever, sore throat and headache. Severe cases of RSV can afflict older adults with underlying chronic conditions such as lung disease, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, neurologic disorders, kidney disorders, liver disorders, hematologic disorders, a compromised immune system, and other conditions that may increase the risk of severe respiratory disease.

Arexvy is administered in a single dose. Patients may receive Arexvy and their seasonal flu vaccination in the same setting along with their COVID vaccine

Please be aware that the vaccine may not be covered by your insurance and in such cases, self-payment may be required.

The Arexvy vaccine is currently administered by physician referral only in the Nurse Clinics at Watson Clinic Main and Watson Clinic Highlands. To receive a vaccination, please contact your Watson Clinic Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician for a referral by calling 863-680-7190.
