Speech - Language Pathology

Watson Clinic’s certified speech-language pathologists work with patients to diagnose and treat a variety of disorders associated with speech, voice, swallowing and cognition.

The range of services offered for adult patients include evaluation and treatment related the following conditions:

  • Swallowing Disorders, including VitalStim
  • Voice Disorders, including videostroboscopy
  • Stroke Rehabilitation/Aphasia
  • Parkinson’s Disease/ALS
  • Motor Speech Disorders
  • TMJ Disorders
  • Head and Neck Cancer, including Laryngectomy Rehabilitation
  • Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Fluency Disorders
  • Augmentative/Alternative Communication
  • Bell’s Palsy
  • Accent Reduction

In addition, the department provides pediatric services related to the following:

  • Articulation Delays/Disorders
  • Language Delays/Disorders
  • Feeding/Swallowing Disorders (birth and up)
  • Cleft Palate/Craniofacial Anomalies
  • Fluency Disorders
  • Pervasive Developmental Delay/Autism
  • Central Auditory Processing Disorders
