Speech - Language Pathology
Watson Clinic’s certified speech-language pathologists work with patients to diagnose and treat a variety of disorders associated with speech, voice, swallowing and cognition.
The range of services offered for adult patients include evaluation and treatment related the following conditions:
- Swallowing Disorders, including VitalStim
- Voice Disorders, including videostroboscopy
- Stroke Rehabilitation/Aphasia
- Parkinson’s Disease/ALS
- Motor Speech Disorders
- TMJ Disorders
- Head and Neck Cancer, including Laryngectomy Rehabilitation
- Traumatic Brain Injury
- Fluency Disorders
- Augmentative/Alternative Communication
- Bell’s Palsy
- Accent Reduction
In addition, the department provides pediatric services related to the following:
- Articulation Delays/Disorders
- Language Delays/Disorders
- Feeding/Swallowing Disorders (birth and up)
- Cleft Palate/Craniofacial Anomalies
- Fluency Disorders
- Pervasive Developmental Delay/Autism
- Central Auditory Processing Disorders
