The Women's Center encompasses two “suites” with a dedicated professional staff offering
mammography,
breast surgery, and
plastic & reconstruction services. Designed with a comforting, feminine flair, the accredited Women’s Center was
constructed to inspire a heightened health awareness and quality of life for women throughout Polk County and beyond. Suite A houses a comprehensive mammography department where a team of fellowship-trained mammographers, radiologists and medical support staff offer patients state-of-the-art care in a relaxed and compassionate setting. These specialists utilize the latest digital mammography technology, which produces clearer imagery, faster results and a wider detection area. Suite B offers breast surgery consultation and plastic surgery services.
From Suite A of the Women’s Center, patients benefit from advanced digital mammography technologies, supervised and read by dedicated breast imagers with fellowship training in mammography. Breast ultrasound and breast-specific gamma imaging (BSGI) are also performed in Suite A, while MRI and MRI-guided biopsy is available through Watson Clinic’s radiology department. Suite B of the Women’s Center offers high risk surveillance, breast surgery consultation and plastic surgery services -- often working in concert to provide patients with immediate reconstruction and the latest oncoplastic techniques.
