The Watson Clinic orthopaedic surgery department is pleased to announce the next event in their series of free informative lectures devoted to hand surgery issues. On Monday, March 14 at 6:00 pm, Watson Clinic hand surgeon Anne M. Meo, DO, will present “Got Hand Pain?,” a presentation that will explore the most common hand and wrist disorders - including carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis and tendonitis - and the latest techniques used to treat them.
Dr. Meo received her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine/New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, NY. She completed her osteopathic internship and was the chief intern at Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Stratford, NJ. Her residency in orthopaedic surgery was completed at the Peninsula Hospital/Northshore LIJ Consortium in New York, where she also served as the chief resident. She completed a fellowship in hand surgery at the State University of New York in Stony Brook.
Dr. Meo is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics, the American Osteopathic Association and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. She is board-certified in her specialty.
