Watson Clinic is pleased to announce an upcoming lecture being given by an expert member of our gynecology department. On Saturday, April 2 at 9:00 am, Watson Clinic gynecologist William M. Alford, MD, will present ‘Minimally Invasive Permanent Birth Control Options for Women.’ During this lecture, Dr. Alford will explore the Essure and Adiana permanent birth control treatments, two revolutionary new in-office procedures that yield overwhelmingly high success rates without the use of incisions, hormones or anesthesia.
Dr. Alford received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN, where he also performed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and served on their clinical faculty. He is a Fellow of the American College of Gynecologists, and a member of the American Society of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the International Society for Advancement of Humanistic Studies in Gynecology, and the American Fertility Society. He is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Alford practices from Watson Clinic’s Main location at 1600 Lakeland Hills Boulevard in Lakeland.
