Watson Clinic is pleased to announce the opening of XpressCare at Merchants Walk, their second XpressCare location dedicated to the fast, efficient treatment of walk-in patients with minor illnesses and injuries. The new medical clinic, located on 3615 South Florida Avenue, Suite 710, in the Merchants Walk Plaza, (just off the Polk Parkway on South Florida Avenue) will be headed by board-certified family medicine physicians Luis E. Baltodano, MD and Michael B. Band, DO, MS.
Watson Clinic’s XpressCare team can treat a variety of everyday ailments, including minor lacerations, sore throats, earaches, sports injuries, and upper respiratory infections. An on-site lab service is available for quicker diagnosis. Best of all, patients who chose XpressCare are spared the long wait and higher charges associated with traditional hospital emergency rooms.
XpressCare at Merchants Walk will be open Monday through Friday from 7:30am – 4pm. Appointments are not necessary. New patients are welcome, as well as patients with an established Watson Clinic physician who need to be seen quickly.
Watson Clinic’s original two walk-in locations, XpressCare at Lakeland Highlands (located at 2176 E County Rd 540A in Lakeland) and Urgent Care (located at the Main Clinic at 1600 Lakeland Hills Boulevard in Lakeland), are open weekdays from 8 am to 8 pm, Saturdays from 8 am – 6 pm, and Sundays from 11 am to 5 pm.
