Watson Clinic is pleased to announce that hearing center audiologist Katherine Pafunda, Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA, has recently been awarded Board Certification in Audiology by the American Board of Audiology. This certification recognizes a knowledge base that is consistent with the highest professionally established standards, and also demonstrates Dr. Pafunda’s commitment to achieving these standards and remaining current in the latest audiology developments and issues.

Dr. Pafunda received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, her Master’s degree from the University of South Florida and her doctorate from the Arizona School of Health Sciences at A.T. Still University. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a member of the Florida Academy of Audiology and a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association. She has been with Watson Clinic since 1987.

Watson Clinic’s Hearing Center offers a variety of services for hearing-related healthcare needs, including hearing evaluations for adults, children and newborns, hearing aids and fittings, tinnitus evaluations and treatments, and ear plug customizations. A team of experienced and licensed audiologists works closely with Watson Clinic’s board-certified otolaryngologists and head and neck surgeons, as well as physicians who refer patients from outside of the Clinic.
