The Program for Employee Excellence and Recognition (PEER) award is given monthly to an employee who is thought by his/her peers to be a great example of Watson Clinic’s mission and values.
The winner of the PEER Award for May was Chuck Chancey from Facilities. Chancey is the Security/Hospitality Officer for Watson Clinic South and has been here for four years. He is known for his extraordinary customer service skills and his willingness to help out all patients and employees alike. Chancey’s dedication to his job is clear; He recently walked all the way to work from Winter Haven after he experienced car trouble – just to make sure the South Clinic was opened in time for patients to have their early morning Laboratory appointments as scheduled.
As PEER Award winner, Chancey received a plaque, a reserved parking spot, dinner at a local restaurant, and a free service from Watson Clinic’s Bella Vista Spa.
