Watson Clinic is pleased to welcome Srinivas S. Iyengar, MD, to their team of eye care specialists.  As an ophthalmic (eye) plastic surgeon, Dr. Iyengar performs routine ophthalmology services, as well as a variety of surgical procedures involving the eyelid (droopy eyelids, baggy eyelids, etc.), tear drainage system and eye socket. He also sees patients for cosmetic eyelid surgery, Botox injections and facial fillers, Latisse, revisional eyelid surgery, eyelid tumors and eyelid/orbital trauma.

Dr. Iyengar received his medical degree from the University of Colorado in Denver, CO, where he also performed his surgical internship at Exempla St. Joseph Hospital.  He performed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Kansas in Kansas City, KS.  Dr. Iyengar spent a year traveling abroad teaching ophthalmology around the globe with ORBIS International (www.orbis.org) as part of their Flying Eye Hospital Team, before completing a two-year fellowship (sponsored by the Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery) in orbital and oculofacial surgery at Eyesthetica in Los Angeles, CA. 

Dr. Iyengar is board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Association for Research and Vision in Ophthalmology, the Florida Medical Association and the Polk County Medical Association.  He is seeing patients at Watson Clinic’s Main location - 1600 Lakeland Hills Boulevard in Lakeland.  To schedule an appointment with Dr. Iyengar, please call 863-680-7486.
