APRN Hematology/Oncology (FT) (Mulaparthi) - Lakeland, FL
Dr. Mulaparthi's Hematology/Oncology practice is seeking a Full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to collaborate with in order to diagnose, treat & manage patients in an outpatient practice setting. We are looking for an empathetic, team player with a willingness to learn. Hours would be Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm (or until all patients are seen).
*At least one year of previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant. Previous experience in Oncology is preferred, but not required.
The practitioner will practice under the direction of our Oncologist physician to provide essential duties such as but not limited to:
- Perform H&Ps
- Documenting examination results
- Performing office, lab, or patient screening procedures
- Maintain and update progress notes in a timely manner
- Providing continuity of care
- Write orders for medications or tests
- Treatment & patient education
