Louis Saco, M.D. - Chairman - Dr. Saco became Chairman of the Foundation in 2001 and is the current CEO of the Watson Clinic, LLP. In addition to these responsibilities, Dr. Saco also has a Gastroenterology practice. He attended Georgetown University Medical School and joined Watson Clinic LLP in 1981.
Jeffrey Scott Swygert, M.D. - Dr. Swygert became President and CEO of the Foundation in 2001. Dr. Swygert practices Inpatient Internal Medicine at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He attended the University of Florida and Emory University School of Medicine. He joined the Watson Clinic, LLP in 1996.
Stan Piotrowski, B.S., MHA - Secretary & Treasurer - Mr. Piotrowski has served on the Board for 2 years and is also the CAO of the Watson Clinic LLP. Mr. Piotrowski attended Gannon University, George Washington University, Baylor University and Harvard University. Mr. Piotrowski joined the Watson Clinic LLP in 1999.
Glen Barden, M.D. - Dr. Barden has served on the Foundation Board for 20 years and is the former Chairman. He joined the Watson Clinic, LLP in 1972 and is an orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Barden attended Abraham Baldwin College, University of Florida and Emory University School of Medicine.
Henry D. McIntosh, M.D. - Dr. McIntosh has served on the Board for 21 years. He joined the Watson Clinic in 1984 as a cardiologist and retired in 1992. Dr. McIntosh is the Founder and Chairman of Heartbeat International, a program of the Foundation that provided over 5,000 pacemakers in 27 third-world nations. Dr. McIntosh attended Davidson College, University of Pennsylvania Medical School and U. Francisco Martinique, Guatemala. Dr. McIntosh was also a professor at numerous universities both in US and abroad.
Pranay Patel, M.D. - Dr. Patel has served on the Foundation Board since October 2001. He joined the Watson Clinic, LLP in 1998 where he has an Otolaryngology practice. Dr. Patel attended the University of Texas, Oxford University and Baylor College of Medicine.
Angelo Spoto, Jr., M.D., F.A.C.P. - Dr. Spoto has served on the Foundation Board for 18 years. He also serves as CEO of Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine (previously a project of the Foundation) and has an allergy practice at the Watson Clinic, LLP. Dr. Spoto attended the University of Florida and Duke University School of Medicine. He joined the Watson Clinic, LLP in 1966.
Adil R. Khan – Mr. Khan is the Chief Administrative Officer of Clark & Daughtrey Medical Group, P.A. He holds a masters degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School/Clark University and a BA from The Johns Hopkins University. Mr. Khan has been associated with Clark & Daughtrey since 1999.
Kamal Haider, M.D. – Dr. Haider is a hematology/oncology specialist with Clark & Daughtrey Medical Group P.A. and the Center for Cancer Care and Research. He attended King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. He joined Clark & Daughtrey in 1994 and has been the President of the group since 2000.
