The Center for Cancer Care & Research is proud to be featured in a Spanish-language documentary produced by PGTV and airing as part of Women’s History Month at the Winter Haven Campus room WLR-108.
The documentary, produced in Fall 2010, follows the story of a local Lakeland resident as she navigates through her diagnosis, treatment and recovery from breast cancer. The story was told entirely in Spanish and was intended to be an educational documentary to help those with a similar diagnosis. Special thanks to Teresa V. Martinez, President of the Institute of Spanish Communication, Inc, and Producer and Host of Comunidad Viva - PGTV Brighthouse 622/Comcast 5/Verizon20.
